介詞又叫前置詞，是一種虛詞，在句子中不能單獨使用。它不能獨立充當句子成分，必須與其後作賓語的名詞、代詞等構成介詞短語後才能充當句子成分
介詞（短語）語法功能
1.作狀語
介詞(短語)在句子作狀語修飾動詞。表示時間，地點，條件，目的等
2.作定語
介詞短語作定語表示某個關係，一般放在它所修飾的名詞或代詞之後
3.作表語
介詞短語作表語時，多放在be動詞之後

介詞:in
用法:在一段特指的時間內
in+一段時間，表示從現在算起往後推算一段時間，意為:在(多久)之後，常與一般將來時連用，用How soon提問
in+世紀\/年份\/季節\/月份
介詞:since
用法:since+時間點=for+一段時間。表示某個動作或狀態持續的時間長度，可譯為(時間)長達……常用於現在完成時(常與延續性動詞連用)
介詞:for
用法:for+段時間，表示某個動作或狀態持續的時間長度，用How long提問
for也有“為了，以…價格，對…而言，因為”之意
介詞:at
用法:at+時刻\/年齡\/鐘點，表示某一時刻，在…歲時，在…(時間)
介詞:on
用法:on+具體每一天(的上午，下午，晚上)
也可以表示 …樣的一天 例:On a cold morning
介詞:before
用法:表示某一時間之前 You must get up before six
介詞:by
意義:最晚\/不遲於…，到…為止 例:She will arrive by 5:00
介詞:until\/till
用法:直到…，與延續性動詞連用，表示某動作或狀態延續到某時間 例:I waited for him until\/till 12:00
not…until:直到…才，與短暫性動詞連用 例:He didn't come back until12:00
介詞:during
意義:在…期間 例:I'm going to Beijing during May Day
介詞:from…to
意義:從…(到…)，表示從某一時間點到另一時間點的一段時間 例:We have english from 8:00to 8: began to play the piano from three years old
介詞:after
用法:after+時間段(從過去某時間點算起的一段時間後，與過去時連用) after+時間點(通常與一般將來時連用)

用法:在…上面(兩物相接)
表示兩地接壤 Hubei is on the north of Hunan

用法:at+小地點(≤鎮)，表示在某一地點

意義:表示兩地相隔 例: Japan is to the east of China 向，朝，往，對著(某方向或某處) 位於…方向 在某環境範圍之外

意義:指順序先後 例:He entered the classroom after the teacher
介詞:behind
意義:在某事物之後 例:He hid himself behind the door
介詞:in front of
意義:表示在…前面(外部) 例:There are a lot of trees in front of our school

意義:從外到內 例:He went quickly into the room

意義:到…上 例:He jumped onto a tree
介詞:out of
意義:在…外面，相當於outside 例:She went out of the office in a hurry 反義詞:inside 在…裡面
介詞:by，beside
意義:在…旁邊 近義詞:near 在…附近

方式介詞:
with 用…，with+工具\/具體部位
in (1)用…方式，語言，語調，工具型別或顏色 (2)in+限定詞+交通工具 表示乘坐… 例:in the car
by+交通工具“乘坐…” by+doing sth“透過…”
on+裝置(電話，電視，電腦，收音機)“透過…” on+限定詞+交通工具，表示“乘坐…”
範圍介詞:
except“除了，除…之外”(不包括後面所提及的人或物) besides“除了…外還有”(包括後面所提及的人或物在內)
including“包括，包含” 例:Ten people were killed in the accident, including the driver
其他介詞:
with“和…一起，帶有，穿戴”表示伴隨、方式
without“不，沒有” 例:He just left without saying goodbye
about“關於” 例:Tell me about your work
as“作為，以…身份，像，如同”
like“像…一樣”He walks fast like running
